COMPOSITION. Cultural rabies virus from “Shelkovo-51” strain which was generated in retaken cells (ВNК-21), inactivated with phenol, B – propyl lactone.
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM. Dry spongy mixture of yellow-brown colour which is easily dissolved in the sterile distilled water.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES. Immunity comes on the 10-th day after vaccination and is kept for 2 years. The vaccine is not used for medical treatment.
INDICATION. Vaccine is used for prophylactic and emergency immunization of animals against rabies in satisfactory, threaten and unsatisfactory farming and living areas. For prophylactic immunization two injections should be given to animals which are vaccinated for the first time, separated by an interval of at least 20-30 days. The vaccine is given once to animals which were vaccinated against rabies earlier. Animals which were possibly infected are vaccinated not later than 48 hours in emergency situation. The vaccine is given three times with an interval of 7 and 14 days. Horses, pigs, cattle, cats are vaccinated from 3 months of age, and dogs from 2 months of age. Animals should also be boostered once in 2 years.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS. Animals which are at risk of having rabies disease should not be vaccinated. With the purpose of revealing contraindications the veterinary surgeon should make an inspection of the animals on the day of vaccination.
VACCINATION SCHEDULE AND DOSAGE. Vaccine should be given as an intramuscular injection to cattle, horses, dogs, cats and the vaccine is administered under-the-skin (subcutaneously) to pigs in doses per one injection under the following schedule:

|puppies of 2 months of age and adult fine decorative breeds of dogs (Maltese dogs, badger dogs, Pomeranian dogs [spitz], terrier dogs etc.)||1 ml|

VACCINE SHELF-LIFE. 12 months from the date of its manufacturing.
CONDITIONS OF STORAGE. The vaccine is stored in a dry, place at temperature 2-8 0 С.
PACKAGING. The vaccine is available in 10 ml glass hermetically sealed vials containing 3, 5, 8 or 10 ml.
12 ml of lyophilized drug containing 1,5 doses, 2,5 doses, 4 doses, 5 doses and 6 doses.
